Parent Pickup and Dropoff

Parent Pickup Procedure

1. Cars will pull into the entrance closest to Auburn Trace.  (The same as morning drop off.) 

2. Cars will pull forward, facing Ambs, beginning with the first row of cars closest to Auburn Trace (row 1).  See diagram 1. 

3. Cars will continue to pull behind, fitting approximately 5-6 per row. See diagram 1.

4. Cars will continue to pull into the rows parallel to Auburn Trace, as far over as the end of the café.See diagram 1.

5. For the safety of our students, the lot will continue to close at 3:30 p.m.  (If you arrive later, you are encouraged to park at Washington Middle School and return to the lot as you see buses leave.)

6. When busses are dismissed, the first row (row 1) of cars (closest to Auburn Trace) will be directed to “swing” around, approaching the building, and pulling alongside/parallel to the café.  (This will allow the traffic flow to mirror that of morning drop off.)  Please pull all the way forward so the maximum number of cars may be loaded at a time.  See diagram 2.

7. Stay in your car at all times.  Staff will bring your child(ren) to you and load the car. 

8. When loaded, pull forward, exiting at the entrance closest to Washington Middle School.

9. Cars will continue to follow until the lot is fully cleared.

Parent Dropoff Procedure 

1. Cars will pull into the entrance closest to Washington Middle School.

2. Cars will pull forward, facing Auburn Trace Subdivision parallel to the cafeteria, beginning with the first row of cars closest to the cafeteria.  See diagram 1. 

3. Cars will continue to pull into the rows parallel to Ambs Rd/Cafeteria until 8:30 a.m. when drop off begins. See diagram 1.

4. Cars will then loop around to the cafeteria for drop off.

5. Stay in your car at all times.  Staff will help your child(ren) get out of the car when in front of the cafeteria.

6. After dropping off, pull forward, exiting at the entrance closest to Washington Middle School.
